This Informed Consent explains how Bowhead Health Pte Ltd (“Bowhead”, “we” or “us”) collects, uses and discloses your data when you use Bowhead’s products and services (collectively, the “Services”). Please take the time to carefully read the notice below the information that informs your consent, relevant disclosures between Bowhead Health PTE and you.
Bowhead Health PTE and its affiliates (“Bowhead”, “we” or “us”) are committed to protecting the privacy of all individuals who (“you”):
Bowhead conducts research to better understand the triggers, reliefs, symptoms related to migraines as well as how they correlate to other lifestyle habits.
The purpose of this research is to eventually display aggregate community insights to help other migraine sufferers with aggregate community insights.
Rest assured, Bowhead never sells your Personal Information or Personal Health data to third parties. Bowhead plans to conduct this research and use the de-identified data for up to 20 years. You may at any time withdraw your Informed Consent.
In order to participate in the research you can install the Better by Bowhead app, and you do not have to pay for the App or provide any Personal Information.
You may backup your account using the 12 word recovery backup encryption code. There is a risk if you lose this encryption code we cannot recover your account. You are responsible for the safekeeping and storage of your backup code.
The potential risks are that the app may be taken offline and you may lose your data, we make no guarantees that the app will exist forever. Another risk, is that you see a community member suggest a migraine relief or any treatment which has not been medically validated. Please consult a doctor before making any changes regarding your health.
The potential benefits are that you may learn from the community and better understand how others, in an aggregate manner, are living with a condition. Bowhead may potentially be a useful secure tool to enable you to track your migraine events in order to build a complete picture of your migraines’ triggers, symptoms and reliefs. In no way does Bowhead make the claim of curing, diagnosing or treating migraines and you should speak to your medical doctor before making any adjustments to your health.
We do not sell any of your Personal Information or Personal Health Data to any third parties. Your information is encrypted and not shared unless you specify otherwise.
Your information is stored on MedStack’s HIPAA compliant server instances and you are responsible for managing your encryption and decryption keys.
If there are any specific clinical studies or future research opportunities a separate informed consent will be collected after you have been provided with more details.
Bowhead may improve its Services by analyzing non identifiable aggregated data.

In order to withdraw you may send a Private Message via the application or email us at Privacy Officer privacy@bowheadhealth.com . We will confirm your withdrawal from any research within 2 business days. Please note that if you send a Support Ticket, this information will be stored on Zendesk servers. Zendesk is a support ticketing platform that is contracted by Bowhead Health.
